Fire Station Visit and Firework Celebration

Once again a fantastic time at the fire station, hosted by Fireman Rich, with the kids crawling through cages, climbing drying towers and riding in the biggest toys in town! Thanks to the Mödling Fire Department

En route to the fireworks we popped into RockBlaster to sample Mödlings latest attraction, a state of the art climbing centre, which in phase 3 will add indoor beach volleyball

Then up to Waldgasthaus Bockerl for refreshments, relaxation and rockets! Thanks to Rob and Frank for building the fire and releasing the rockets, Rich for the First visit and everyone for coming, in all over 50 people enjoyed the events. Next year is set for November 8th , mark your diaries now

please paste your photos in comments if you like, or links to your picaso sites:-)

A picture says a thousand words !

here are some pictures of Mödling from my album.

I am interested to see your favourite 7 pictures of the town, in terms of what you would show a friend visiting here for the first time from another country :-)

"Why I want to meet the England football team in Vienna on 16th November!"

lets have a competition:-

please write a hundred or so words, as a comment to this file, on the topic in title - "Why I want to meet the England football team in Vienna on 16th November!"

I will look for some prizes, like a football, "Bend it like Beckham", "Fever Pitch" ( Nick Hornby is also here during that time , see http://www.einestadteinbuch.at/ ) and Beckham's autobiography... maybe even with luck a meeting with some of the team, who knows....

best of luck, and have fun, nigel
